Hi, I'm Graydon, the founder and superfood mixologist behind Graydon Skincare (graydonskincare.com)
My connection to plants, nature, and beauty is deeply personal. As a child, I lived in France, playing in lavender and flower fields, and observing how French women take scrupulous care of their skin. Back home in Toronto, I began concocting homemade face masks, and eventually, my graduate studies took me to Los Angeles, where I became a yoga teacher and vegan chef.
At the same time, however, I had a secret: I was battling an eating disorder. Thankfully, the knowledge I gained through the wellness community helped me overcome this disease. It also led me to create my business, Graydon Skincare.
As a chef, I used a lot of superfoods and started experimenting with superfood-infused skincare masks. One of my clients was an aesthetician who experienced excellent results using my products during facials. I had an ‘aha’ moment and saw an unexplored niche in the skincare market that I was determined to pursue.
Fast forward to 2021. Today Graydon Skincare makes 18 face, body and hair care products that deliver a unique combination of superfoods and science. We are a leader in the growing natural skincare market in Canada. We’ve developed a passionate, loyal customer base and followers on social. We are also super grateful to have been featured in countless online and print publications.
We recently won the Beauty Shortlist Award for Best Natural Organic Skincare Brand in Canada and the U.S., which has left me feeling stunned, humbled and excited. While I am not working in the lab, you can find me in my kitchen usually whipping up some sort of superfood coffee, soup or salad dressing.
My mission in life is to give you good skin days, every day while feeding your skin from the outside in with my favourite superfood ingredients blended with the best of cosmetic science!
